Give Me A Break

So my life is pretty busy these days. I have a bunch going on and not that much time to catch up. However I have a few things in the hopper that I can’t wait to showcase. In the meantime if you want to catch up on my baby girls life go check out www.MemphisPope.com. Heidi is taking care of busy over there!

Productivity…

Today was one of the most productive days in a while. However it didn’t start till around 3:30 this afternoon. I strapped down and knocked out some work that had been hanging over my head for a little while. It was nice when everybody left the office and it was just me there.

Upon wrapping everything up at the office I went home and went back to work. Knocking out another proposal I worked till midnight. It was/is a great production day for me.

However, I know this will come at a price. I have been on these weird sleep shifts lately. I just tried to go to bed but tossed and turned for over 45 mins. This is not like me at all. Normally once my head hits the pillow I am out in a matter of seconds. Well as you can tell tonight is not one of those nights – instead I am up at 1 in the mourning making a blog post.

Earlier this week I had a similar night. The problem was at work the next day. Full of energy in the mourning I knocked out some pretty cool Variable Data printing on the sticker machine. But once I achieved that my body shut down. I couldn’t function after lunch at all. It felt like I was in a haze and getting sick. I hope tomorrow will not be like that. If so I know I achieved enough today to get me into the weekend where I can catch back up for next week.

The work I have been doing has been pretty good as of late as well. A lot of positive feedback from clients and friends alike. People have been supportive over the small things that I am doing for brand awareness. And to top it off Keith has been doing a great job of hustling. I think his work and my work combined are paying off in new clients as well as recognition!

Is it bed time yet?
