Coding Your HTML Emails: Fundamental Principles

  1. Keep it simple
  2. Images should be posted on your publicly accessible web server.
  3. TABLES not CSS are your Friend!
  4. Don’t code your emails too wide. 600px Max.
  5. Webmail services are tricky.
  6. Think like a spam filter.
  7. 99% of your CSS won’t work (see #3).
